As my eyes slowly drift off the things that are
They come to a place where
Nothing makes any sense
To a place I no longer understand
To a place where everyone I know
Everyone who means something to me
Never speak the truth to me
Where they only spit lies in my face
The things they do aren't to make me smile
But to make me feel alone
Alone like I have always felt
Alone like they know I am
The way they want me to be
They will never want me to be as happy
As happy as I believe I am
As happy as my family thinks
